The gift of storytelling was handed down to me through generations of Samoan orators, whose stories carried tribes across oceans to create new worlds. But the craft of storytelling was hard earned, through years of training in elite schools, demanding conservatories and a decade of supporting world class clients with global brand campaigns.

I know what story can do because I've watched it change lives, communities and organizations that impact billions. In my TEDx talk, "The Key To A Legendary Story," I talk about how I've also watched people live their whole careers, and sometimes their whole lives, inside a story someone else wrote for them. Performing a version of themselves that was never quite true. Waiting for permission to share what I call the story they were born to tell.
